Załęcze Wielkie [zaˈwɛnt͡ʂɛ ˈvjɛlkʲɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Pątnów, within Wieluń County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland. It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-east of Pątnów, 18 km (11 mi) south-east of Wieluń, and 95 km (59 mi) south-west of the regional capital Łódź.[1]

Jurassic (Oxfordian)[2] outcrops in abandoned quarries located near the village yielded fossils of a thalattosuchian crocodylomorph belonging to the superfamily Teleosauroidea.[3]
