Zalaqi District (Persian: بخش ذلقي)[a] is in Aligudarz County, Lorestan province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the city of Titkan.[4] The previous capital of the district was the village of Kish Olya (Kish Bazanvid).[3]

History
editAfter the 2016 census, the name of the district was changed from Besharat District to Zalaqi District,[4] and the village of Titkan was elevated to the status of a city.[5]

editAt the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 9,907 in 1,673 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 9,703 people in 1,783 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 8,346 inhabitants in 1,988 households.[2]
