Zamurrad (born 1946) is a former Pakistani film actress who performed in Lollywood movies from the 1960s to the 1980s.

Life and career
editZamurrad was born as Zumurrad Sultana in 1946 in Amritsar, British India.[1]She has worked as a tawaif(courtesan) in heeramandi.[2]
She started her acting career in 1958 in the Urdu film "Hasart". She played the role of actor Yousaf Khan's sister in the film. Since then, she worked in more than 150 Urdu, Punjabi, and Pashto films, mostly in supporting roles. Her notable movies include Saheli (1960), Gulfam (1961), Azra (1962), Badnaam (1966), Maa Baap (1967), Saiqa (1968), Naseeb Apna Apna (1970), Heer Ranjha (1970), and Ziddi (1973). Her last film "Sajra Piyar" was released in 2016.[1]
During the 1970s, Zamurrad was regarded as one of the most prominent film actresses of Punjabi cinema in Pakistan.[3]
Personal life
editZamurrad married actor Shahid but the couple later separated. Both have a daughter, Rabia Shahid.[4]
