Zanjireh (Persian: زنجيره)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Koshksaray Rural District of Koshksaray District, Marand County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4] The previous capital of the rural district was the city of Koshksaray.[5]

Demographics
editPopulation
editAt the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 2,486 in 524 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,556 people in 684 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 2,597 people in 751 households.[2]
In 2019, the rural district and the city of Koshksaray were separated from the district in the establishment of Koshksaray District.[4]
