The 2008 Gujarat bus crash occurred in Vadodara, Gujarat, India on 16 April 2008. [1] As a result of a burst tire causing the driver to lose control, A public bus carrying numerous passengers, including over 60 children, broke through a concrete barricade and plunged almost 50 feet into a canal. At least 47 people, mostly children, drowned and 4 children were rescued at the scene.[1][2][3]
