Abu Mohammad Sarwar Farid is a major general of the Bangladesh Army and director general of National Intelligence Agency of Bangladesh.[1][2][3][4] Previously he was the Commandant of Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA). Before that, he was Deputy Military Secretary (DMS) at Bangladesh Army Headquarters and also served as Director of Armour in Army Headquarters, Armoured Directorate. He commanded 93 Armoured Brigade under 11th Infantry Division in Bogura after that he served as a Directing Staff in Armed Forces War Course Wing in National Defence College, Bangladesh.
