Akash Kumar is an Indian boxer.[1] He competed at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships, winning the bronze medal in the bantamweight event.[2] He was the only person to win a medal for his country at the 2021 championships.[3][4] While competing, his mother's death was kept secret from him.[5][6]
