Chandrababu Naidu has emphasized the importance of creating proper guidelines to facilitate the growth of the drone sector.[3] The summit will host a series of discussions and panels where industry experts and government officials will deliberate on the regulatory framework needed to support the drone industry and make India a global drone hub by 2030.[6]

Another key objective is to foster collaboration between the government, educational institutions, and private industry. The summit will feature representatives from IITs and other engineering colleges, aiming to encourage knowledge sharing and innovation. The government plans to sign two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) during the event, one with the Quality Council of India (QCI) to enable the state to issue Drone Remote Pilot License certificates, and another with IIT Tirupati to serve as a knowledge partner in drone education and training.[4]

The Andhra Pradesh government anticipates attracting investments worth Rs 2,000 crore and generating revenue of Rs 6,000 crore in the next five years.
