Aurai is a block of Muzaffarpur District, Bihar, India.[1] Its administrative center is the village of Aurai. As of 2011, the block has a total population of 290,545.[2]

Aurai is located on the northeast of Muzaffarpur District. Its average elevation is at 55 metres above the sea level.[3]
