Basdila Village is known for the Sunni Arabic School Darul uloom Ahle Sunnat established in the British Era, pre-independence India.[1] The Arabic School is a government aided institute established around 1940, currently serving approximately 600 students. The foundation stone of this school was laid down by Master Inamullah Khan.[citation needed]

The Village has a Hindi Medium school and Junior collage (Janta Inter College Basdila).
