Bononabagram Baul Ashram

edit

An initiative of Bangla Natak Dot Com, a Kolkata based social enterprise, the Bononabagram Baul Ashram aims at promoting traditional Baul music. Set up in a rustic open setting the ashram provides a music experience throughout the year. Different groups of baul singers are invited every week to provide a musical experience to the guest. The ashram also has staying options and music lovers can stay overnight to enjoy the music and the organic food that comes straight from the vegetable gardens.[6] During the winter months special music programmes are held, which attracts a lot of visitors.
