Carabus masuzoi is a species of ground beetle, family of Carabidae.[2] It is endemic to Taiwan,[2] and was first found in mid-altitude mountains of central Taiwan.[1][3] Its body is black colored with longitudinal indents on its elytra, and is capable of flight.[4] Its morphology differs between different habitat types.[3]
