To get into this category art works must be notable enough to have their own wiki page. They should also have been the cause of civil disturbances serious enough to have the police called out - outraged complaints by art lovers are not enough unless they hit someone.filceolaire (talk) 18:42, 20 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I wonder if this category be have a better title. "Riot" is a specific type of civil disturbance, and many artworks have caused disturbances of various degrees and types. What about all the protests over Confederate monuments? What about something like Category:Controversial artworks or similar, which is less specific, but possible also too vague? ---Another Believer(Talk)22:43, 10 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
