Some of these appear to actually be films based on musicals based on plays
Hello, Dolly! (film) is based on Hello, Dolly! (musical), but Hello, Dolly! (musical) is based on the play The Merchant of Yonkers, right? Should Hello Dolly count as a film based on a musical based on a film? This may also apply to Fanny (1961 film). (There is an earlier film adaptation of the story, but the wikipedia page for the musical says it is based on the play.)
