I know this issue has been a source of acrimony elsewhere, but why do we have a category for "Indian pop singers", which contains male singers, and then a separate category for "Indian female pop singers"? Why don't we have an "Indian male pop singers" category or, better yet, why don't we just not gender the categories? I mean, what's the point of ghettoizing them?
