I created this category to replace Category:Schools for the deaf in the European Union, because this tighter category (a) is equivalent to categories for other countries, (b) can fit within various UK hierarchies, (c) avoids the question of "Where would we categorise a Swiss school?". There is a parent "Education in the European Union" category, but it only holds the various "Education in..." categories for the EU countries, and is not such a useful hierarchy. Categories should be created for deaf schools in other European countries as appropriate. PamD (talk) 07:40, 7 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
