The 2023 AFC eAsian Cup of eFootball was part of the 1th edition of the AFC eAsian Cup, and the first tournament to be played on eFootball, specifically eFootball 2024 PS5 consoles. The tournament was held between 1 February and 5 February 2024 in Virtuocity eSports Arena Doha, Qatar. 20 representing took part [1]

Format

the tournament 20 teams from the AFC's Member Associations who are currently participating in the ongoing AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™. Divided into four groups of three teams and two groups of four, each team comprises two main players and one substitute and will participate in highly competitive 12-minute matches in a 2v2 format.

In the group stage, each team engages in two showdowns against every other team in its group. the event will see the top two teams from each group, alongside the four best third-place finishers, earning a berth in the knockout stage.

Hereon, the winners of each round will be decided on the basis of a best of three format, culminating in the final on February 5.[2]
