Submission declined on 31 October 2024 by Ktkvtsh (talk). This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.

- Comment: Draft reworked pursuant to feedback from the Help Desk. In particular this new draft relies exclusively on citations @Jéské Couriano: said seemed ok for notability purposes. MrBumpTiger (talk) 19:20, 13 November 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: This reads too promotional for me. Also, as the subject of the article, please cease working on this article and let others take over, as it is not allowed to write an article about yourself, even after announcing the COI. Ktkvtsh (talk) 16:32, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: I am the subject of the article and therefore have a conflict of interest. I believe I am notable under WP:PHOTOGRAPHER. For notability purposes, see CNN. WIRED and Hypebeast articles.MrBumpTiger (talk) 15:23, 31 October 2024 (UTC)

Alastair Philip Wiper is a British photographer known for photography of industrial and scientific facilities, such as factories and laboratories. He developed an interest in industrial photography in 2009 after seeing images from the mid 1900s[1] taken by Wolfgang Sievers and Maurice Broomfield.[2] After Toyota wouldn't let Wiper take photographs of their factory, he got his start with photographs of a small printing company in England a friend let him into.[2]
Starting in 2012, Wiper has been traveling to different locations around the world to take pictures of factories and other facilities.[3] Since then, Wiper has taken photographs of the manufacturing plants that produce Adidas shoes, Spam,[1] and sex dolls, as well as scientific facilities like wind tunnels[2] and the CERN nuclear research center.[3] His photos of a pig processing plant where pig corpses were lined-up on hooks were especially controversial.[3] As of 2020, Wiper has photographed about 125 locations in 25 countries.[2]
In 2020, Wiper published a book containing photographs of machines and technology called "Unintended Beauty".[1][3] This was followed by a 2023 book called "Building Stories" and focused on architectural photography.[4] Wiper is British and lives in Copenhagen, Denmark.[1][4]
