Allytriz technologies is a Chennai based startup focusing in developing assistive technologies for people with disabilities. It is headquartered in Multi Resource Centre, Madras Christian College, Tambaram.[1]
History
editIn 2021, M. Karthick Jothi, a physics graduate from Madras Christian College, came up with the idea of a glove which can interpret sign language.[2]
On 12th of April, 2022, M. Karthickjothi along with his fellow alumni Mothish M founded Allytriz Private Limited.
On 2nd July, 2022, Allytriz Private Limited won 2nd runners-up in Tata Social Enterprise Challenge (TSEC) 2021-22 and won prize money of Rs. 2lakhs.[3]
At SmartIDEAthon held at GITAM, on August 11, 2022, Allytriz won runners-up and Rs 1 lakh cash prize.[4]
On January 2, 2023, Karthickjothi founded Allytriz Technologies Private Limited along with Mothish M.
At Social innovator Fellowship Program 2023 conducted by Schaeffler India Limited, Allytriz Technologies won the best pitch of the day and awarded for further development and incubation.[5]
