Eren Kısmet’s passion for meteorology initiated Buluttan. In 2015, he created a Facebook page named “Buluttanbildiriyor[1]” and shared his views on upcoming meteorological events.

Two years later, with his childhood friend, Güven Bölükbaşı, they developed the first private meteorological engine in Turkey in 2016 and shared the results via BuluttanApp. The App Store app has 300,000+ users with a 4.8/5 rating.[2] On 3 April 2021, Eren Kısmet passed away due to glioma.[3]
