Christmas Radio is an independent local radio station, based in the UK broadcasting on DAB+ and online on the internet. The station, is licensed by the UK regulator Ofcom.
Broadcasting History
editOn the 1st Oct 2020, Christmas Radio began broadcasting on the Portsmouth trial DAB multiplex run by Solent Wireless[1]. A test transmission of Christmas Radio on DAB prior to its launch on 1st of October 2020 was recorded by a radio DXer in Southampton, and uploaded to YouTube.[2]
In 2022, Christmas Radio joined the then new Winchester DAB+ multiplex [3], along with 17 other stations, to broadcast in Winchester.
