Ferdinand Friedrich Hoff (* 6 January 1867 in Bergenhusen ; † 16 October 1942 in Kiel ) was a teacher and member of the German Reichstag .
Life
editHoff attended elementary school, preparatory school and seminary in Eckernförde from 1884 to 1887. From 1887 he was a teacher in Kiel. He served in the 85th Infantry Regiment . From 1906 he was a city councilor in Kiel and from 1907 a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the Kiel- Rendsburg constituency [1]. He wrote numerous essays on cultural policy and economics.
From 1912 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Schleswig-Holstein Province 5 ( Norderdithmarschen , Süderdithmarschen , Steinburg ) and the Progressive People's Party .[2] From 1921 to 1932 he was a member of the Prussian Landtag for the German Democratic Party .
