Floyd A. Hodges (born April 15, 1986), known in combat sports as Floyd "The Hitman" Hodges, is an American mixed martial artist, Muay Thai competitor, actor, and technology consultant. His combat-sports career has included appearances for regional mixed martial arts promotions and on the undercard of ProElite's 2011 Big Guns event.[1][2] He later competed in Muay Thai events promoted by Ignite Fights.[3]
Early life
[edit]A 2017 profile in IMPULSIVE Magazine reported that Hodges entered foster care at age twelve. During high school, he competed in track, wrestling, and football at the varsity level. He became interested in mixed martial arts after attending an unsanctioned event and subsequently began training with members of his extended family.[4]
Combat sports career
[edit]Hodges competed on regional mixed martial arts cards from 2009 through 2013, including events held by King of the Cage, Seconds Out/Vivid MMA, Driller Promotions, and Victory Fighting Championship.[1]
In September 2011, he faced Donald Williams at Riot at the Hyatt in Minneapolis, where Bleacher Report provided ringside coverage of the three-round bout.[5]
In November 2011, Hodges fought Waylon Lowe on the ProElite Big Guns undercard in Moline, Illinois.[2][6]
Hodges later competed in Muay Thai. On December 3, 2022, he faced Ryan Stock in a three-round, non-title 147-pound bout at Ignite: Nak Muay II in Minneapolis.[3] On November 1, 2025, he again faced Stock at Ignite Fights 110 in a five-round title bout.[7]
Community work
[edit]In March 2023, FOX 9 reported that Hodges served as youth services director for TC Nighthawks, a Minneapolis startup focused on vehicle recovery. The station reported that he was responsible for the organization's youth programs and described him as a local boxer. Hodges told FOX 9 that kickboxing had given him goals and aspirations.[8] The Star Tribune also identified Hodges as a local boxer in reporting about the company and its planned advertising.[9]
Information technology
[edit]Hitman Technologies identifies Hodges as its principal consultant.[10] His current work centers on AI-driven workflow automation, business-systems integration, cloud services, and operational modernization. The company describes developing automation for sales, customer service, marketing, onboarding, reporting, document processing, and internal task coordination.[11] A federal-vendor profile describes Hitman Technologies as a sole proprietorship registered on SAM.gov and offering AI business solutions and cloud integrations.[12] A 2017 profile in IMPULSIVE Magazine reported his earlier development of an IT-services business offering computer setup, remote assistance, smart-home automation, data backup, and related services.[4]
Political campaign work
[edit]In 2026, Hitman Technologies stated that it had consulted with Minnesota candidates for governor, the state legislature, county commission, and city council on AI-assisted campaign messaging, content production, analytics, and scenario planning.[13] Campaign-finance data compiled by Transparency USA lists Hitman Technologies as a payee of Ross Nova's 2026 Minnesota gubernatorial committee.[14]
Acting
[edit]Hodges appeared as Counselor Smith in the 2019 short film Unalienable Rite.[15] He played a local police officer in the 2020 film The Saving.[16] He later appeared as a street pedestrian or street extra in the 2022 science-fiction film Dark Cloud.[17][18]
