Ganesh Ram Mahara is a President of Chhattisgarh Mahra Jati Uthan Samiti and General Secretary of Sarva Mahra/Mahar Samaj.[1] Now Fighting for MLA from Masturi Vidhan Sabha. And he is the first non-Satnami candidate of Masturi.
Early Life
editHe was born in his maternal grandfather's home Karmanda Village on 4 January 1959, Sunday. He was born into a very poor family because of that only his big brother is Educated till the 12th rest of 1 brother Ganesh and 2 sisters studied till the 8th. But some people who not are educated also have some talent from childhood like him. he studied till 8th to make his brother graduate officer he started working a lot to earn some money and make his brother a graduate officer. but when his brother got selected for college his brother dropout from 2nd year BA course because of financial problems. and his father started a Hotel. Ganesh manages the hotel & his hobby is cooking. He started to give room to hotel people who didn't have a home and who slept in public places. and the hotel was a meeting area for RSS members & his father also got a membership in RSS. then gets a job as a supervisor at CSEB.
Social Career
editHe was respective towards society from childhood but He joined Mahra Samaj as a Member in 1985 to get an ST Reservation to Mahra Community and became General Secretary in 2009 & became President in 2021. Now in his time period, Mahra Community has a reservation of ST[2]. he donated many things to Mahra Samaj more than time and money. He is also a member of AWGP from 1987.
