Georgia Oakley (*1988) is a British filmmaker and screenwriter.
She studied English Literature at Newcastle University and then started her career as an in-house director at Channel 4. Oakley's short films have screened at international festivals worldwide, including New York Film Festival, London Short Film Festival and Berlin Short Film Festival.[1]
Her first feature film, Blue Jean premiered on September 3, 2022, at the 79th Venice International Film Festival and was nominated at the 76th BAFTA Film Awards in the category Outstandind Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer.[2]
