India On Track FC
India On Track FC is an Indian professional football club based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The club competes in the Mumbai Football League in the Mumbai Premier League Division, which is one division away from I League 3. The club was established in 2018, and began its first competitive season in the Mumbai Football Association (MFA) Third Division Championship. Since its inception, the club has won a Championship Title in Division 1 (2022- 2023) and runners up in Super Division (2023- 2024). The club also has two 4th place finishes in Division 3 (2019- 2020) and Division 2 (2021-2022) making it one of the 3 football clubs in Asia and the only club in India to have 4 or more consecutive promotions in a football league.
The Club is owned and operated by Mumbai based sports management company India On Track headed by its Chairperson Mr. Gaurav Modwel, a visionary trying to enhance the grassroot sporting ecosystem in India.
History
India On Track, a sports management company started off by establishing football grassroots academies pan India in the year 2013. With time, India On Track realized that the students they were training did not have a football career progression path after the age of 18. Hence, India On Track FC was formed with the vision of providing the students of India On Track football grassroots academies an opportunity to participate in the Mumbai Football League, conducted by the Mumbai Football Association. Although, as the team progressed to higher divisions, semi professional footballers were required on the team to progress in the league.
