Jameel Yusuf is a Pakistani businessman and the Chairman of TPL Corp Ltd.[1] an investment holding company of the TPL Group which includes TPL Properties, TPL Trakker, TPL Insurance, TPL RMC, and TPL Life.[2]
Early Life
editJameel Yusuf migrated from Hyderabad Deccan in India after which he shifted with his family from Lahore to karachi.
Founding Chairman, Citizen-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC)
editIn 1989, Jameel Yusuf founded the Citizen-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) in Karachi to assist crime victims. He led the CPLC until 2003.[3][4][2] [5] [6] [7]
Public Service and Recognition
editJameel Yusuf received the Presidential Award for Public Service, "Sitara-e-Shujaat," in 1992 and was nominated for the United Nations Vienna Civil Society Award in 1999.[2] [5] [6]

editJameel Yusuf is a Director of the Asia Crime Prevention Foundation, a founding trustee of PANAH (a shelter for women in distress), and involved with the Aga Khan University's Institute of Educational Development.[2] [5] [7] [8]
