- Comment: Passing mentions, no mentions and a deadlink do not demonstrate notability. Please do not resubmit without demonstrating and verifying notability. Doing so is likely to lead to rejection. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 11:33, 29 October 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: It is unclear how the subject meets WP:NMUSIC with coverage from reliable sources; all apparent claims of notability in the article seem to be unreferenced sentences. Utopes (talk / cont) 01:36, 10 September 2024 (UTC)

John Bruno (born June 22, 1971) is an American Rock and heavy metal guitarist for various bands and projects such as Obsession, D-Metal Stars, AniMaze X, Super Guitar Disney, and X Factor X. Coming from a family of divorce, he and his sister Lisa were raised by their father John, a respected local police officer. Mother, Dinah Bruno moved to Florida when John was 10 years old.
Starting as a guitarist playing in the local CT scene of the early 1990's, John had played with area artists in the local bands "Reckless" and "First Offense". In the mid 90's he met bassist Chris McCarvill and they formed their own original project X Factor X. They enlisted vocalist Andre Vanchot and Tony Mei on drums to much area success including the self titled album X Factor X released in 1997.
In 2003, while playing in the band X Factor X, a new producer came on board to work with the band, Michael Vescera. After working on that project a bit, Mike offered John the guitarist spot in the reassembly of the legendary metal band Obsession. He has been a guitarist and writer for Obsession since 2004.
In mid 2016, John was the guitarist and a co-creator for the first official Walt Disney heavy metal album, D-Metal Stars Metal Disney, which included Michael Vescera on vocals, Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy, Whitesnake, Quiet Riot) on bass, and BJ Zampa (Dokken, House of Lords) on drums, recorded a new project. D-Metal Stars "Metal Disney" was released in October 2016 on Walt Disney Records[1][2] in the Japanese market. It reached No. 3 on the Amazon Japan Hard Rock / Metal Best Sellers chart, and No. 2 on the Children's Chart. The album was then released for the US Market on March 31, 2017, by UMG, Universal Music Group landing on the Billboard, iTunes, and Amazon charts.
In 2018, John co-created and played all rhythm guitars for a rock guitar project called "Disney Super Guitar" (titled "Super Guitar Disney" in Japanese market)[3]. Along with D-Metal Stars bandmates John Bruno (guitar) and BJ Zampa (drums), Vescera brought in his brother Chris Vescera to play Bass for the project. This is an instrumental release featuring a guest lead guitarist on each song. Featuring Zakk Wylde, Paul Gilbert, George Lynch, Richie Kotzen, Orianthi, Ron Thal, Mike Orlando, Phil X, Jeff Watson, and Tak Matsumoto. Super Guitar Disney became a No. 1 Best Seller on the Amazon Japan Anime Chart, and No. 3 Best Seller on Amazon Japan Rock Chart.
Mid-2018, the "AniMaze X" was launched. This is a project started by the members of D-Metal Stars that encompasses a wider variety of music themes such as super heroes, popular cartoons, Broadway musicals and movie soundtracks all played in the Metal style. Live Metal performance with a theatrical style production. In 2021, AniMaze X was on Season 6 of the Wonderama TV show[4] for 2 episodes, playing Live from Times Square in New York City. AniMaze X released a Christmas album on Tribeca records and played off Broadway Metal Xmas shows in support of the album in NYC. [5]
