Kaylah Whitby - Professional figure skater
Early life: Kaylah Whitby was born in Gold Coast, Queensland to parents Leila Davis and Bruce Whitby. Her mother was a national champion in artistic roller skating and represented Australia overseas. Kaylah began training under ex-olympian Sharon Burley at Iceland Gold coast.
Achievements and background: 2 x QLD champion 2017, 2018 2nd place in Nationals, 2018
Professional life: Kaylah Whitby joined her first ice skating show in September 2022 and has performed in over 70 shows for the ice skating show "Welcome to Parad-ice" a show in which she was the ice skating captain for.
She first gained local notability for her popular TikTok videos about her life as a pro ice skater.
Competitive Skating: In 2024 she moved to Melbourne to return to competitive figure skating, where she trains under the prominent coach Robyn Burley.
She is currently taking the Melbourne figure skating world by storm and is a big threat poised by many to come first at nationals due to her high level of artistic skills and expressive performances.
