This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Miroslav Uďan is a Czech entrepreneur, co-founder of Shoptet and one of the most prominent figures in Czech e-commerce He started his first Internet projects when he was 16 years old, but they were mainly non-profit activities. During his work as a tester of new phones at T-Mobile, he became interested in e-commerce and ran a small online store where he sold cosmetics using dropshipping.[1].
Uďan's cosmetics online store was developed by his future Shoptet partner, Tomáš Krejčí, whom he met during this period, which marked the beginning of their more intensive cooperation. In 2008, this resulted in the establishment of Shoptet, a platform that allowed entrepreneurs to create and manage their own online stores for a fraction of the price offered by other companies at the time. Tomáš Krejčí was in charge of the technical development and Uďan was in charge of business strategy and marketing. In just a few months of Shoptet's operation, they managed to acquire several dozen customers, which led Uďan to resign from T-Mobile, thanks to which he was able to devote himself fully to Shoptet.
Uďan left the position of director of Shoptet in 2021[2] when almost 25,000 online stores were operating on this platform and sold a significant part of his share to his then partner and Czech billionaire Ondřej Tomek.
One of his side projects is a czech website svympanem.cz, where he advises promising entrepreneurs on how to proceed when establishing and starting their own business[3].
He is currently working on his new startup Out of Dark, which helps companies visualize and improve their customer journey[4]
