editIn June, Otake and Takahashi participated in the 2024 Taipei Open, their first tournament at the S300 level. In the first round, they faced the 5th seeds, Sung Shuo-yun and Yu Chien-hui from Chinese Taipei, and secured a victory in straight games. In the next round, they continued their winning streak by overcoming Indonesian pair Lanny Tria Mayasari and Rachel Allessya Rose, also in straight games. Their journey, however, ended in the quarterfinals, where they faced the second-seeded pair, Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma and Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi, from Indonesia. Despite their strong effort, they lost a three-game match that lasted 72 minutes with scores of 14–21, 21–19, and 9–21.
