PDF-Zoland also known as Zomi Federal Union/People's Defence Force, is a significant player in Chin State, Myanmar military conflicts. They're a key member of the Chin Brotherhood Alliance, formed in December 2023 alongside the Chin National Organization/Chin National Defence Force (CNDF) and Chinland Defence Force-Mindat (CDF-Mindat).[1] This alliance aims to enhance collaboration in both political and military endeavors concerning Chin State and chin ethic affairs.

The Chinland Defense Force, and PDF-Zoland was established the same year 2021, in response to the military coup in Myanmar. Thier primary goals are to protect civilians from the junta, abolish the 2008 Constitution of Myanmar, end military rule, establish a federal union.[2][3][4]

Unfortunately, PDF Zoland has faced challenges, including attacks from the Zomi Revolutionary Army (ZRA), which has raided their basecamps and tortured their members.[5] Despite these obstacles, PDF Zoland continues to fight against the military junta, even attracting Western volunteers. Including a former Bristish soldier and an American veteran.[6]
