Early life and training
editShrinivas was born on 15 April 1967. He started his initial training from his mother. Later he was in the tutelage of Pandit Vishwanath Pendharkar, who imparted him the lessons of solo harmonium. Then, for more than ten years, he was a Gandabandha Shishya of Pandit Purushottam Walawalkar.[1] He combines the playing styles of both his gurus.

editAcharya has accompanied Pandit C R Vyas, Begam Parveen Sultana, Vidushi Shobha Gurtu, Ustad Rashid Khan, Pandit Prabhakar Karekar, Pandit Ajay Pohankar, Pandit Kaivalya Kumar Gurav, Vidushi Kaushiki Chakraborty, Devaki Pandit, Pandit Suhas Vyas, Pandit Vidyadhar Vyas, Pandit Raghunandan Panshikar, Pandit Ram Deshpande, Ustad Raja Miya Khan, Pandit Dhananjay Joshi and Sawani Shende.[1][3][4][5][6][4][5][7]
He had also played with tabla maestros like Pandit Mukundraj Deo[6] and Pandit Mahesh Kanole.[5][8] He often accompanies Begam Parveen Sultana on the harmonium.[4][9][10]
He has participated in major classical events in India such as Gunidas Sangeet Sammelan, Sawai Gandharwa Mahotsav in Pune, ITC Sangeet Sammelan, All India Radio Sangeet Sammela, etc.[1][11]
Shrinivas along with Pandit Suhas Vyas (vocals) and Pandit Mahesh Kanole (tabla) performed at the BRICS Vocal Concert in the year 2017 at Xiamen in China.[5][8]
