Good work
editNice work Andykatib and Panamitsu, have you thought of a companion article about the similarly notable 100 Year Flood of 1978? I've got less recollection of that than the 1984 flood (I was a few years younger then...) but I do remember a flood book "The Hundred Year Flood" (similar to "Southland's Black Friday") and a special "flood" edition of the Clutha Leader was also published (and sold well outside its usual area - it was definitely available in Invercargill). - ... that although nobody died in the 1984 Southland floods (pictured), about 12 thousand sheep perished?
