Fakes quote
edit@Fram:, I approved this through AfC and did check what I could, at least as far as notability. What did I miss with the quote? --CNMall41 (talk) 09:38, 9 August 2024 (UTC)
- Article has "his passing Adi Da Samraj's personal charisma was collapsed into the charisma of the sacred books, and the art and the theatrical works he left behind". Looking at the source[1] I see ""his passing Adi Da Samraj's personal charisma was collapsed into the charisma of the sacred books
, and the art and the theatrical workshe left behind". Adding the bit about art (in an article about the art) seems like an attempt to give notability to his artwork based on a falsified quote. Fram (talk) 10:18, 9 August 2024 (UTC)- Okay. I get that. I am not sure if it is fake. Likely accurate quote just not appropriate. I will remove and take a closer look at the rest when I have the time. It appears that some of this content was taken from the main Adi Da page so it may be appropriate to merge but not sure yet. --CNMall41 (talk) 19:44, 9 August 2024 (UTC)
- How can it be a "likely accurate quote" when I give you the source and it is different from what the article has? Fram (talk) 07:48, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
- I saw what you wrote but did not comprehend the "and the art and the theatrical works" (I must have glanced at it too quickly). My mind looked at it mainly as promotional and not fake. For AfC, I do not verify everything in a draft. I look mainly at notability and promotional tone. I am not sure we would make headway if we verified everything in a draft. As far as I am concerned, the quote can be removed as fake, unnecessary, promotional, or whatever. --CNMall41 (talk) 08:00, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
