Draft talk:Blue (Jurassic World)

Hello @BD2412: There were a couple discussions about this here and here. Several editors, including myself, were opposed to a Blue article, so she is now covered at Velociraptors in Jurassic Park. As for the draft:

• The Velociraptors page does a better job of summarizing the in-universe details.
• The production section is brief and already covered at the Velociraptors article.
• The reception section also duplicates the Velociraptors page.

Since edits from this draft were copied into the raptors page, should we just redirect the draft there?  AJFU  (talk) 14:06, 12 January 2024 (UTC)

To clarify, is everything currently in the draft also already reflected in the mainspace article. So long as no information is lost, that is a reasonable solution. BD2412 T 15:28, 12 January 2024 (UTC)

What is covered in the draft's Production and Reception sections is also present in the mainspace article, with minor differences in wording. The only major difference is the in-universe stuff, but I don't know if that would be enough to prevent a redirect (comparison here and here).  AJFU  (talk) 16:49, 12 January 2024 (UTC)

At the end of the day, the question is whether it serves the reader to have a separate article. Blue (Jurassic World) gets 3-4 views per day, so some number of people (albeit not by any means a large number) are specifically looking for the character. Is the content on the general page sufficient to satisfy the reasonable interests of readers who are interested in reading about the character? BD2412 T 19:32, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
