@Wikilover90: Thanks for contributions. Here is my first review on this draft:
Lead and infobox
Lead needs expansion, but after expanding the body. See MOS:LEADLENGTH
Infobox; There are too many red links. Please limit the alma matter institutions to Eberhard Karls University. Because the general practice is that, a person may have many alma matters but we only mention the one the subject is more closely associated compared to others. In the occupation field, please just mention "Theologian". "Executive Director of the Institute for the Study of Religion" is a position in an organisation.
Section 1; the section clearly needs expansion
Wikidata can be used as a source. Firstly because it is tertiary source, which is not acceptable, see WP:TERTIARY. If you see the reference given the statement in the Wikidata item, it has been pulled from the German Wikipedia article. So a Wikipedia article can't be cited in a Wikipedia article.
Before going into detailed comments, I strongly suggest you to expand the article, and bring it to a decent length. So I suggest you to through these sources; some of them are in German, you may use Google translate, but follow the best practices mentioned at WP:NONENG. I would suggest you to have a look at the following pages; 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Please note that I have not done a thorough research of their content, but yes, they're relevant, and are worth working. Also the list of publications can be expanded based on these sources. Please ping me here or a drop a message on my talk page if you have any queries.

@Diannaa: Thanks for your time to fight against the copyright violations. Regarding this draft, I would like to give you a brief background. As mentioned in the above section, it has been created by a participant from a training program. After their first draft had been ready, I was to give my comments to get it ready for the mainspace. Today, the user has contacted me about the edits being deleted. When I checked, I've seen that you suppressed these edits for copyright violation. Though I agree completely agree with the action, I would like to know if there is any way to get it back and check—what caused the violation. This'll help me to guide the use, and also helps the editor to learn about the mistake. Even an off-Wiki channel (like Google docs) would help. Thanks, KCVelaga (talk) 16:52, 2 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
