Merge with Draft:Five Nights at Freddy's 2 (Movie)

edit

I propose merging Draft:Five Nights at Freddy's 2 (Movie) into Draft:Five Nights at Freddy's 2 (film) because there are some things in Draft:Five Nights at Freddy's 2 (Movie) that are not in Draft:Five Nights at Freddy's 2 (film). Also the words in the brackets in the titles are different, and film-related articles usually use "film" in the brackets instead of "Movie". The Media Expert (talk) 18:39, 4 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

I agree with this proposal, this is the namespace with the proper name so it would only make sense to merge the two here. SleepDeprivedGinger (talk) 19:28, 4 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
What are we merging? The only really difference (in the "Movie" one) is this: "In August 2018, Cawthon said that if the first film were to be successful, there could be a second film that follows the events of the second game." Which, in my opinion really isn't relevant since the statement was made years before the first film was even written. Just delete that whole draft, the Draft:Five Nights at Freddy's 2 (film) was created first anyway. Mike Allen 19:56, 4 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
That sentence could still be stated at the very beginning of the Development section, since it is the first known mention of this film by Scott Cawthon himself. SleepDeprivedGinger (talk) 21:24, 4 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
There is no reference cited. Do you know what source that is using? Mike Allen 23:04, 4 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
It seems to be a Steam forum post, going by Cawthon's Wiki article (that's tagged for primary source usage). I don't think the article needs that. Mike Allen 23:11, 4 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
In that case, your reasoning is starting to make more sense; if there's nothing noteworthy in the "(Movie)" draft then it should most likely be blanked into a redirect to this page. SleepDeprivedGinger (talk) 10:38, 5 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
