[edit]This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (It is meant to cover historical reference to the first introduction of a now largely obsolete technology that had a fundamental disruption in the use of console periphery controllers - affecting a specific genre of gaming (FPS). Certainly not meant as a promotional piece. I will edit to focus on the community impact and remove any superfluous product references. :I have made a fundamental edit - Let me know what you think :) ) --Corpus xmas (talk) 07:24, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
- Get us some sources on independent media supporting the "disruptive" claims instead of few press articles. WP:COI also requires editors to announce conflict of interests, and we generally are suspicious towards WP:SPA. 海盐沙冰 / aka irisChronomia / Talk 10:14, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
- As a note, having a review on IGN is not the equivalent of notability. It needs independent reporting from multiple mainstream media across a reasonable amount of time. Please see the link for WP's criteria for inclusion on a subject. 海盐沙冰 / aka irisChronomia / Talk 10:17, 5 February 2026 (UTC)

- I can certainly interject elements of these articles, I can see how it would help frame the impact - I initially did not include them because I wanted to focus on the FUNCTION of the device, as opposed to the sensationalism. Corpus xmas (talk) 16:37, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
- Also I am a clinically ADHA obsessive person (I saw a reference to similar just now in your bio) and I am quickly realizing this type of pursuit is perhaps not healthy for me ;P Corpus xmas (talk) 16:46, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
- I'm sorry. I'm getting too itchy trigger-fingered when accusing people of being promotional.
- Yes. Re-reading your contributions, I can now see that your contributions are indeed of good quality.
- I'm sorry for my previous hostility. It's quite egregious for me to do that...
- Thank you for spending this much time working on the article. It must've been quite rude for me to come in and attack your work like this. Again, my apologies. 海盐沙冰 / aka irisChronomia / Talk 16:55, 5 February 2026 (UTC)

- I also don't know how this works regarding the deletion notification - is it adjudicated over a specific period of time, then either removed or the article is deleted? Corpus xmas (talk) 17:05, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
- Yes, I removed it. The speedy deletion notice box is the proposal itself, and simply removing it cancels / retracts said proposal. Generally, any editor other than the article creator can remove these proposals directly, (ideally giving their rationale in talk / edit summary); one can provide no reason at all when their own proposals (the idea is that other users can simply start the same request again if they saw the need).
