@Thehistorianisaac: Given there is a topic ban in place it maybe prudent to remove "Prior to the establishment of SWAT teams...anti-terrorism was mostly given to the People's Armed Police". Melbguy05 (talk) 11:13, 25 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Melbguy05
I added it long before the TBAN. I won't change anything about it(or add any more content mentioning the PAP) but I think we can keep it since I did not add it after the tban(which I plan to appeal anyways). Thehistorianisaac (talk) 11:56, 25 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Thehistorianisaac:If I was you I would remove it to be on the safe side until you successfully appeal the TBAN. You can always re-add it later. Melbguy05 (talk) 12:09, 28 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Thehistorianisaac: Hi, the content of the article has significantly departed from the introduction which had been on Public Security Bureaus SWAT units that were part of the Ministry of Public Security which had an English language source. The introduction will need to be rewritten given the content mentions non-Public Security Bureaus SWAT units. The information for the non-Public Security Bureaus SWAT is all from Chinese language sources - nothing wrong with that just an observation. I would imagine that it would be extremely difficult to find English language sources for the other units. Regards, Melbguy05 (talk) 10:31, 18 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Melbguy05
I think the topic was more of people's police police tactical units(most of which are called swat), the vast majority of which belong to PSBs. However for the variants, those are more of like firearms variants on firearms articles, just mentioning these agencies of the people's police also have SWAT.
