Amar, an orthodox & Prakash, a flirtatious, are besties. Prakash loves a foreign-returned rose, Neetu. Since he is diffident in expressing his love, he seeks Amar's help when Neetu tunes towards Amar, who also loves her. Despite her father's refusal, Major Saab Neetu espouses Amar. Soon after, disputes arose as they belonged to various lifestyles. Exploiting it, begrudged Prakash arouses the situation. Once, on Neetu's birthday, Prakash was carousing. Spotting it, furious Amar smacks Neetu when she leaves her autocratic father and sends a divorce notice. Immediately, Amar moves to get her back when he is mortified, yet he opposes the divorce. Afterward, Amar learns about the arrival of his mother, who spends her life on pilgrimage. Thus, he agrees with Neetu to get a divorce, provided they are with him as newlyweds until his mother's return, which she accepts. During that period, Neetu understands the sanctity of marriage and the righteousness of Amar, and her vanity subsides. Moreover, Major also bows his head down to the kindness of Amar's mother. At last, Neetu refuses to divorce and asks for forgiveness when Prakash reforms and pleads pardon. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the couple's reunion.
