Howmeh Rural District (Shirvan County)

Howmeh Rural District (Persian: دهستان حومه) is in the Central District of Shirvan County, North Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Amirabad.[3] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Allahabad-e Olya.[4]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 7,297 in 1,989 households.[5] There were 8,062 inhabitants in 2,285 households at the following census of 2011.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 7,070 in 2,216 households. The most populous of its 31 villages was Chalu, with 1,846 people.[2]
