Jameel Shah is an Indian businessman and the founder of Shah Shoes.[1] He started the trend of making customize handcrafted dance shoes in India.[2][3]

He delivered TEDx talks 'Persistence, the key to success' and 'Could Cinderella's Shoemaker be from Dharavi'.

Early life

editShah moved to Delhi at the age of 12 and worked in a factory, and then as a security guard. In 2001 he started taking dance classes from Sandip Soparrkar. In 2007, he founded Shah Shoes.[4][5][6][7][8]
Choreographer Sandip Soparrkar hired him as a Bollywood dance shoes designer.[9]

Awards
edit- 2004 - He was in the Limca Book of Records for his non-stop dance for 55 hours and 20 mins in Goa.[12]
