This is an alphabetical list of countries by past and projected Gross Domestic Product, based on the Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) methodology, not on market exchange rates. These figures have been taken from the International Monetary Fund's World Economic Outlook (WEO) Database, April 2024 Edition.[1] The figures are given or expressed in Millions of International Dollars at current prices.

The following is a list of countries reaching a certain threshold of GDP (PPP) in a specific year according to International Monetary Fund.[2] As for the Soviet Union, its GDP (PPP) reached 2.66 trillion USD in 1990, but it is unknown in which year did its economy surpass the 1 trillion and 2 trillion hallmark.[3]
