Swallow The steamboat was wrecked on the Brig Rock, in the Hudson River at Albany, New York with the loss of about 60 lives. There were 199 survivors, some of whom were rescued by the steamboats Express and Rochester (both United States ). Swallow was on a voyage from Troy, New York to New York City .[ 18] [ 19]
