Manakula Vinayagar Institute of Technology (MVIT) is a college in Kalitheerthalkuppam, Puducherry, India. The college offers two-year, four-year, and post-graduate degrees. The self-financing technical institute was started in 2008 by Sri Manakula Vinayagar Educational Trust.[1]

edit→Applicants must have completed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or an equivalent examination recognized by the Executive Council of Pondicherry University. A minimum of 45% aggregate marks is required in Mathematics, Physics, and one additional subject (either Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Biology). Reserved category applicants need a minimum of 40%.
Attempt Limit
edit- General Category: Maximum of two attempts to pass the qualifying examination.
- SC/ST Category: Maximum of three attempts.
- OBC/BCM/MBC/BTC Categories: Maximum of two attempts.
Age Limit
edit- General Category: Candidates must be under 21 years of age as of July 1 of the academic year.
- OBC/BCM/MBC/EBC/BT Categories: Age relaxation of three years.
- SC/ST Category: Age relaxation of five years
