Plants found in the stream
editThe uniqueness of the stream is the number of Arbutus trees found along it.
Additionally, the following plants can also be found in the stream: early blooming colchicum, common oak, yellowish crocus, common ivy, cedar, anemone, terebinth, and more.
The stream's trail
editThere is a hiking trail along the stream, which is about three and a half kilometers long. It is suitable for all seasons of the year, and the walking time is about two hours.[1]
The trail starts at the ruins of Hamama on Mount Meron, from where it descends steeply towards Nahal Neria.
The trail passes through a shaded channel of the stream and a Mediterranean forest, marked with a red trail marker.
