Criticism
editIn 2009, on its centenary year, the couple closed the Attenborough School, local to them, which was bought by their childcare company in 2005 for GBP 1.2m.[2] Negative media coverage claimed their holding company had pressured employees of the subsidiary into handing in notice a week before its closing.[3]
Personal life
editEverist has two children from his first marriage, and three stepchildren. He is also an avid art collector and golfer.[4] In October 2017, Everist's stepson, Charlie Mills joined the cast of Made in Chelsea, a television show on E4 which follows the lives of affluent young people living in West London.[5]
Golf
