Sholayar is a gram panchayat in the Palakkad district, state of Kerala, India. It is a local government organisation that serves the villages of Sholayur and Kottathara.[1]
Development projects
editIn 2022 the Makkal Raja Productions[2] introduced a system to strengthen the tourism sector of Attappadi. The team named Makkal Raja Productions has thirty friends. Under their leadership, a delivery system has been set up to deliver household items and food items to the doorstep.[3] Dhayanidhi's brother Kirupanidhi, a class 8 student, and friend Plus Two student Sivashankar are there to strengthen Dhayanidhi's dreams. It took a month for Dhayanidhi and his team to prepare the website and application. The amount needed for the construction cost was found with the help of the parents. The decision of Sholayur Panchayat is to support the initiative of Dhayanidhi.[4] Panchayat President P. Ramamurthy, Development Standing Committee Chairman D. Ravi, Health Standing Committee Chairman M. R. Jitesh, Panchayat member G. The website was launched in the panchayat under the leadership of Radhakrishna Kurup and others.[5] The panchayat said that it would provide all possible support to Dayanidhi's innovations. Dhayanidhi Sk,[6] who is the founder of Makkal Raja Productions.
