The Stardust Award for Best Director – Thriller/Action is presented at the Stardust Awards, an award ceremony for Hindi movies in India which began in 2003.[citation needed] Hosted by Stardust Magazine (a monthly Bollywood and gossip magazine), this award honours outstanding film direction for thriller and action films. The winner is selected by the readers of the magazine.
